f40 letter to the Prime Minister

A letter, signed by 38 senior representatives of f40 authorities, has been sent to the Prime Minister, with a copy to the Secretary of State for Education.

The f40 group campaigns for fairer school funding on behalf of the most poorly funded authorities in England.

The letter outlines f40’s concerns about the government’s proposals for the funding of schools in England and our worries that the formula being proposed seems to be weighted more towards maintaining stability than achieving fairness.
